Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is planning to dump as many as FOURTEEN of his current squad this summer.
The Sun says Redknapp thinks the squad he inherited from Juande Ramos needs a major overhaul before they can seriously challenge for a Champions League place.
Among the high-profile stars on Redknapp's hit-list are right winger David Bentley and strikers Roman Pavlyuchenko and Darren Bent. The trio cost the club a combined £47.8million in the past two years.
Others squad players who are surplus to requirements include Gareth Bale, Didier Zokora, Giovani Dos Santos, Ricardo Rocha, Kevin-Prince Boateng and Gilberto.
Redknapp could also listen to offers for Jermaine Jenas, Tom Huddlestone, Jamie O'Hara, Chris Gunter and Pascal Chimbonda. Spurs spent £50.25m on Jermain Defoe, Robbie Keane, Wilson Palacios and Carlo Cudicini in January.
And they have blown an incredible £180m on new signings in the last two years, offset by £95m of sales.
