Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp admits regret over missing out on Aston Villa pair Gareth Barry and Nigel Reo-Coker.
Before yesterday's 0-0 draw at Villa Park, Redknapp recalled: "A few years ago I could have got Reo-Coker and another player (Jobi McAnuff) for a combined £250,000 when Wimbledon were going into administration. But somebody here (at Portsmouth) decided they were not worth the money and it all fell to pieces.
"Two years ago, I had Gareth Barry tied up in what was virtually a done deal for about £5million when the same thing happened.
"Somebody here thought we should be getting him cheaper. Look what those players are worth now."
