Redknapp urges QPR to let Newcastle, Leicester, Bournemouth target Austin go

Former QPR and Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp believes the R's should let star striker Charlie Adam leave if the right offer comes for him.

Newcastle United, Bournemouth, Leicester City, Southampton and Aston Villa are the clubs monitoring 26-year old striker Austin, who is reportedly valued at around £15million.

"Charlie has proved he can score goals in the Premier League so it's going to take a big bid to shift him," Redknapp told Sky Sports.

"I think he's happy. He's obviously enjoyed his time at QPR, he's been a big success for them.

"But if the right offer comes in - and it's got to be a good offer - reluctantly QPR may decide, and if Charlie really wants to play in the Premier League, to let him go."
