Former Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp says Brendan Rodgers needs to sign Swansea City defender Ashley Williams.

He wrote in the Daily Mail: "No Jamie Carragher and a bad defeat for Liverpool at Southampton. It's a sign of how much they are going to miss him when he retires at the end of the season. Liverpool need someone who can defend - and play - and my guess is they will try and sign Ashley Williams from Swansea."
