QPR boss Harry Redknapp has nominated two factors the club can take from the West Ham United model.
QPR go to West Ham today.
"West Ham's had a youth policy," Redknapp said. "They've had six kids played for England - that's the first thing. We need to find kids who can play for QPR and producing some players. West Ham have had that tradition.
"The (West Ham) stadium is twice the capacity of QPR, so that's a problem in terms of revenue it brings in."
