Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp says they could be two major signings away from challenging for the title.
Speaking ahead of Sunday's trip to Everton, Redknapp said the Barclays Premier League is the 'most open' it has ever been and reiterated Tottenham's desire to break into the top four this season.
He said: "We've got the players here and, if they can stay fit, there's no reason why we shouldn't be challenging for that top four.
"I don't think we need too much in the window but then, come the summer, you might want to improve in one or two positions.
"If you can buy the right players, if Daniel (Levy, the chairman) says, 'Go and buy two fantastic players in the summer', who knows what we can achieve?"
