Harry Redknapp wants his Tottenham players to stay off the booze and there will be no celebrating if the team avoid relegation. The Spurs boss refused to let his stars drown their sorrows after the penalty shootout defeat against Manchester United in the Carling Cup final.
He told the Sun, "After the final we went back to a hotel and they didn't even look at a glass of alcohol.
"They had a chat, ate what the dieticians had laid out and went to bed.
"If we stay up? I won't be taking them for a drink. I would say to any player: Why do you need to booze?
"I enjoy a glass of wine when I go out for dinner but we are talking about players who are top of their profession."
