Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp admits they could be outbid by Premiership new-boys Birmingham and Sunderland for Preston striker David Nugent.

Redknapp said: "I like David Nugent. He's a good player.

"But I see Sunderland and Birmingham are in for him and they're talking about £7m or £8m. That's a lot of dough."
