Former Tottenham star Jamie Redknapp is shocked by West Bromwich Albion's sacking of Steve Clarke.

Redknapp wrote in the Daily Mail: "It was only weeks ago that Morgan Amalfitano was running through the Manchester United defence to help record a remarkable victory.

"They have suffered a run of four defeats, but they are not being badly beaten and Clarke has not lost the players.

"As a club, it seems to me they have unrealistic ambitions. What do they expect?"
