Redknapp still believing QPR can avoid relegation

QPR boss Harry Redknapp insists, despite being 10 points adrift of safety with five matches left, the West London club can still pull off a remarkable escape act. "We need four wins and a draw from the final five games to have a chance. It's a tall order but we will keep going.

"We're still not down. There's no way we're giving up on this season yet."

The Hoops will be relegated on Monday night if results elsewhere go against them.

Redknapp is refusing to give up, adding: "We'll keep trying and keep believing."

And even if Rangers are relegated, he believes the club can have a bright future.

He added: "The people that own QPR are good people. They're looking to see the job through over the coming years.

"They are getting everything in place to push the club on."
