Redknapp sees Everton defender Jagielka as Terry successor

Former Liverpool and Tottenham star Jamie Redknapp has sung the praises of Everton defender Phil Jagielka.

Jagielka was outstanding for the 1-1 draw at QPR.

Redknapp wrote in the Daily Mail: "With John Terry retired from international football, it's a vital time in Phil Jagielka's career. He was outstanding at QPR, like a magnet to the ball and a threat in both boxes. Gary Cahill was good too at Spurs, finishing like a striker for Chelsea's opener."
