Former Tottenham star Jamie Redknapp feels Andre Villas-Boas needs time at Chelsea.

AVB is under pressure after defeat to Liverpool, but Redknapp wrote in the Daily Mail: "There were seven of Jose Mourinho's former players on the pitch at Stamford Bridge four years after he left the club. We are rushing to judge Andre Villas-Boas now but he needs to be given the chance to build his team and his players.

"Patience is not Roman Abramovich's strength but he paid more than £13million in compensation to recruit his latest manager. It's time for cool heads."
