Former Liverpool star Jamie Redknapp says Everton youngster Ross Barkley must go with England to the World Cup.
Redknapp wrote in the Daily Mail: "There seems to be a 'will he or won't he?' debate about the World Cup.
"How can that be? He has started 20 Barclays Premier League games this season - and has been sub on seven occasions, including a couple of games recently.
"But Roberto Martinez is managing him well.
"Young players will have a wobble mid-season, and the Everton manager has kept him fresh. Two goals in his last two games appear to support that.
"Barkley, 20, makes the game look easy. He breezes past opponents and, crucially, he can use both feet with comfort. He is like a foreign player with an English passport."
