Redknapp reveals some loan dealings for Tottenham this winter

Harry Redknapp admits he will send some of his promising Tottenham youngsters out on loan this winter.

The Spurs boss is hoping to develop some of his young guns via first team experience and he has revealed that the likes of Jake Livermore and Andros Townsend are attracting interest from Premier League and Championship clubs respectively ahead of the January market.

"We're not going to let any of the players that we want to keep go in January, but I'm going to let some lads go out on loan," said Redknapp.

"Some of the young kids can go out on loan now and play. It will do them good.

"I've already had Premier League clubs wanting to loan Jake, but I don't know if I will loan him out because at the moment we've only got Scott Parker, Luka Modric and Sandro.

"We're not overloaded in the midfield at the moment, with Tom Huddlestone out injured. If you include Jake we've only really got four specialised central midfield players.

"It might be difficult but there's been a couple of Premier League clubs wanting to loan Jake. And the other lads, people like Andros Townsend, we'll get them out to the Championship or wherever to play."
