Former Liverpool star Jamie Redknapp has questioned Manchester City's move for Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini.

Redknapp wrote in the Daily Mail: "Manuel Pellegrini lasted one season at Real Madrid, his biggest job. He didn't seem to get on with the galacticos. So why do Manchester City think he is the right man to replace Roberto Mancini? United have gone down the path of a man who knows the scene, but City have gambled."
