Redknapp: Palacios has been massive for Spurs
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has again highlighted the influence of Wilson Palacios since his January arrival from Wigan Athletic.
Redknapp told Hotspur magazine: "One or two players have made a difference here. Wilson Palacios has made a massive impact on this club - he gets on with it. He's strong, aggressive and a big player for us.
"Sebastien Bassong has come in alongside the likes of Ledley King, Michael Dawson, Jonathan Woodgate, while Robbie Keane's back and he's a buzzy character around the place.
"We've brought a few players in and it has changed the mood. They see the likes of Wilson come in who work and close down and it rubs off on other people.
"You need players like that. He walks round like he's pleased to be here and appreciates everything. He's not a big-time Charlie. You need more people like that around you."

Both Wilson and Sebastien have made huge impacts since their arrival and despite being mostly defensie players have shown their capability going forward. Both are having to play with different partners week in week out Seb with Ledley, Charlie or even THudd, while Wil has had Thudd most of the time but now JJ is back. Who will get the position in CM.
I can see another defensive pairing of Seb and Daws and think that this could be our best permanent solution as regrettably Ledley is not going to be a long term fixture - and this despite the fact that I rate him as the best defender in the country. Without his injuries he would be first on the teamsheet for club and country every time.
