Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admits he needed his stars to see off FA Cup rivals Stevenage last night.
Redknapp named nine internationals, including Gareth Bale, Rafael van der Vaart and Scott Parker in his side as he knew his team would be in for a tough night.
"I didn't expect it to be different," Redknapp said.
"People said we would murder them but they don't know what they are talking about.
"Stevenage are big and strong. Every corner, every set-play was a problem. They had six players in the box at times against our three markers and they were all six foot."
