Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is ready to turn down the England job if he can't hand-pick his backroom team.
The Daily Star says Redknapp's No2 Kevin Bond has been making enquiries about the maximum number of assistants previous boss Fabio Capello was allowed.
Capello ended his reign as national coach with just three of his choice, coach Italo Galbiati, goalkeeping coach Franco Tancredi and fitness coach Massimo Neri. Team manager Franco Baldini was working as an unpaid part-timer, having left to join AS Roma as general manager in October.
But Redknapp has a massive backroom staff of EIGHT at Spurs, headed by assistant manager Bond and first-team coaches Joe Jordan and Clive Allen.
