Harry Redknapp made a late bid to land the West Ham United job, it has been revealed.
The Mirror says Redknapp, 68, quit QPR in February. He is understood to have been spoken to by the Hammers two weeks ago.
The East Londoners have opted for a younger candidate.
Slaven Bilic is to be named West Ham manager today.
