Redknapp losing sleep over QPR woes

Harry Redknapp admits QPR's current plight is already taking its toll on him.

The 65-year old only arrived at Loftus Road two weeks ago but is already struggling to sleep as the West London clubs relegation misery deepens.

Since taking the reins from Mark Hughes, former Tottenham boss Redknapp has overseen three draws but the R's remain rooted to the foot of the table without a win from 16 outings.

"I've got stuff on my mind and it's not been easy [to sleep]," he told the Evening Standard.

"I was sleeping very well two weeks until I came back to work. It's more difficult because you're lying there waiting for that alarm clock to go off very early.

"You're thinking what you can do, how you can improve it, what's the best team, who can play where? It's a tough job."
