Former Liverpool star Jamie Redknapp says the board needs to support manager Kenny Dalglish with transfer funds.
In his column for the Daily Mail, Redknapp opined: "The spotlight is now on Liverpool's new owners: what will they come up with to help Kenny Dalglish?
"There were signs of some improvement yesterday and Fernando Torres played well. But Liverpool need strengthening in central midfield and they need another goalscorer.
"Kenny is the king, he's not a magician."
