Harry Redknapp has left out a heap of star players for tonight’s Europa League clash with Rubin Kazan.

Spurs host the Russian Premier League club at White Hart Lane and will go clear on top if they manage to record a victory but they will have to do so without the likes of Gareth Bale, Rafael van der Vaart, Emmanuel Adebayor and Brad Friedel.

Redknapp has started with a largely inexperienced line-up consisting of youngsters Jake Livermore, Harry Kane, Tom Carroll and Danny Rose.

Joining them will be goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes, Sebastien Bassong – who will take the captains armband – Kyle Walker, Sandro, Aaron Lennon, Giovani dos Santos with Jermain Defoe and Roman Pavlyuchenko up front together.

The Spurs bench consists of Carlo Cudicini, Luka Modric, Younes Kaboul, Iago Falque, Andros Townsend, Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Harry Kane.
