QPR and former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has been talking about the credentials of Spurs caretaker manager Tim Sherwood. "Tottenham do change managers an awful lot. I am pleased to see Tim Sherwood having a crack of it. Let's hope that Tim can get the job. He has a great knowledge of football, knows the game.
"I saw him work with the under-21 team. He has been instrumental with people like Caulker and Townsend coming through. I'd love to see him get the job.
"Owners think it is about names but it is not. Maybe we should give Sherwood a foreign name or a more sexy name and he might get the job, I hope he picks up a few results and gets the job."
