Jamie Redknapp has joined the coaching staff at Chelsea.
The Sun says the former Liverpool skipper and England midfielder, 35, is working two days a week coaching the Blues' reserve team.
He is also planning to study for his coaching badges in order to follow in the footsteps of dad Harry, who is boss of Chelsea's rivals Tottenham.
Redknapp was approached by Chelsea after the exit of coach Brendan Rodgers, who became Watford boss last month.
He will also be working with Chelsea midfielder and his cousin Frank Lampard at the club's training ground in Cobham, Surrey.
A Chelsea source revealed: "Losing Brendan created a gap in the staff and Jamie is widely seen as having great potential to be a coach and manager of the future."
