Tottenham defender Vedran Corluka is being linked with a move away from the club but his manager would be loathe to lose him.
The 25-year old Croatian defender's future at the North London club is still up in the air but after showing some great form prior to being hacked down in a Champions League clash with AC Milan, has dropped off slightly.
Redknapp says he would love to retain Corluka and hopes he can remain at White Hart Lane and get some confidence back.
"I would be sorry to lose him," Redknapp said to Sportske Novosti.
"He's a really upbeat guy, always does what I ask him, but unfortunately he suffered the injury in that stupid challenge from (Mathieu) Flamini and it ended that great run of form he was in."
