Redknapp hopes for break before planning for QPR Premier League return

QPR boss Harry Redknapp wants a short break before planning for their Premier League return.

Redknapp admits they didn't deserve victory in yesterday's promotion playoff against Derby County.

Redknapp hasn't even thought about potential recruits yet and wants a short break before taking on the challenge of building a new squad.

He said: "I'm looking forward to next season but I'm also looking forward to the break now. We'll have a good look at it.

"I haven't even thought about what next year brings. People come up with players but you can't look at players. Everything was around today's game. Now you know where you're playing you can start looking.

"If people ring up and ask if you're interested in you need to know what division you're going to be playing in. We know if we're going to bring in a few players we now know that they've got to be good enough to play in the division."
