Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is happy with their signing of released West Ham United goalkeeper Jimmy Walker.
"We also brought in Jimmy Walker to give us a bit of insurance with the goalkeeping situation," Redknapp told the Spurs website.
"Jimmy is a great pro who has been around for some time. I knew him and always admired him from his days at Walsall.
"I thought he was the best goalkeeper outside the Premier League in those days so I am delighted to have him here. He is a real good character and will act as cover for the two quality goalkeepers we are fortunate enough to already have here in Heurelho Gomes and Carlo Cudicini."
