Redknapp full of praise for Tottenham new boys Parker, Adebayor

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has spoken highly of the impact made by two new arrivals at the club.

Scott Parker and Emmanuel Adebayor have settled straight into life at White Hart Lane with consistent performances and their positive influence has not been lost on the Spurs manager.

"Scott was a big signing, I had no doubts about his ability and what he could bring to this football club and he's been every bit as good as I expected him to be," he told the club's official website.

"In the next few years I think he will be massive for Tottenham.

"The fans absolutely have taken to him because of the way he plays the game, he's a great guy to have around the place, he's a fantastic professional, and he's top class.

"Manu [Adebayor] is a player with great ability. He's brought so much to the team. He's played four games, we've won four games and it's no coincidence, he's had that impact, and with Scott he's made a big difference to the team."
