Harry Redknapp believes that Tottenham can have a 'great season' if they continue their current form. The North London club are now undefeated in their past seven, with four of them being wins, and Redknapp says that only good things can come from these types of performances.
Redknapp pointed out that the 2-1 away win over Aston Villa on Sunday was a huge effort, especially considering striker Jermain Defoe was sent off prior to the half-hour mark.
"When you claim three points with 10 men, we did a great job," he said.
"If we continue to play like this then it's going to be a great season for us."
And Redknapp added that he was confident the players would come through with the goods despite being a man down.
"I said to the players at half-time that I felt there was another goal in it for us, that even with 10 men I felt we could catch them on the break because we've got pace," Redknapp added.
"With (Aaron) Lennon and Bale, and Rafa's ability, I felt we would hit them on the counter at some stage and get another goal, and we did that."
