Redknapp desperate for Tottenham striker Keane availability

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is hoping that Robbie Keane is available for the club's upcoming match with Blackburn. The Republic of Ireland international missed Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Sunderland at White Hart Lane with an ankle problem.

Redknapp could be down to one fit striker this weekend as Roman Pavlyuchenko departed their Black Cats clash at half-time with a back injury.

Redknapp is even considering playing fleet-footed winger Aaron Lennon through the middle as he will have no-one else left to support England international Peter Crouch.

"I could do with Robbie if Pavlyuchenko's got a bad back," said Redknapp. "It leaves me with only Crouchy.

"I've got no-one else I can push up front, really, even (Aaron) Lennon, who could play through the middle at a pinch."
