Former Liverpool star Jamie Redknapp is delighted seeing so many young players get their chance under manager Kenny Dalglish.
Liverpool finished their 1-1 draw at Arsenal with three teenagers on the pitch.
Redknapp wrote in the Daily Mail: "Liverpool fans demand their club develop their own players. In recent years you would have thought none of them existed, but Kenny Dalglish has plundered the academy because of injuries.
"Their two full backs, John Flanagan and Jack Robinson, were excellent yesterday, up against Theo Walcott and Samir Nasri. Dalglish has praised the academy staff and, along with the progress of midfielder Jay Spearing, this is why."
