Former Tottenham and Liverpool midfielder Jamie Redknapp has defended Arsenal ace Jack Wilshere after a poor England performance.
Redknapp wrote in the Daily Mail: "Jack Wilshere looks like he is suffering from a lack of confidence. He is struggling. Maybe he has a lack of faith in his body after suffering so many injuries in quick succession. It happens, I know.
"But Wilshere is a young man, he will go through peaks and troughs. He was the youngest player on the pitch and this was only his 11th cap."
