Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is confident fans will take to Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor - should he arrive.
Some Spurs fans have always chanted offensive songs at Adebayor and there was no difference when Tottenham lost 4-0 at Real Madrid last year.
Ex-Arsenal forward Adebayor says he would still be interested in moving to White Hart Lane despite the chants and Redknapp is sure the fans would give him a warm welcome.
"I'm sure they will take to him because he fell out at Arsenal," Redknapp said.
"Arsenal fans hate him so Tottenham fans will love him. He upset them so he'll be a hero here."
