Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp believes Glen Johnson must be knocking on the door of an England recall.
"I thought Glen was strong in the first half and caused them some problems," he said of Pompey's defeat at Everton. "He got forward well and was a threat for them with his deliveries.
"He has ability and knows how to play the game. I don't think he did himself any harm with how he played. He has all the attributes you need in a right-back. He is great at getting forward, too."
