Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is backing Sunderland to stay up under Sam Allardyce.
Redknapp wrote in the Telegraph that he believes Sam "will keep them up.
"The good thing for Sam is he has got enough time to get his ideas across. They do not need to panic yet, there is a long way to go.
"They have got Steven Fletcher, Fabio Borini and Jermain Defoe up front and that can make a big difference. The newly promoted teams do not have squads like that. If they get a few injuries, they are going to be in trouble. They haven't got the depth and that means Sunderland have an advantage over them."
