Redknapp admits Spurs' Euro hopes all but over

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admits he's all but wrote off their Europa League tie with Shamrock Rovers.

Redknapp has always maintained that his team's European campaign lies well down his list of priorities and for that reason he has left the likes of Luka Modric, Gareth Bale and Scott Parker in London.

Indeed, Redknapp has only brought 15 players over to Dublin, and he has all but written off his team's chance of progressing to the last 32.

"It's going to be very, very difficult to qualify," Redknapp said.

"We want to come and try to win the game. Then we will see what happens from there."
