Redknapp admits Man Utd ace Rooney now proving big-match performer

Former Tottenham star Jamie Redknapp says Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney is becoming the ultimate big match performer.

Redknapp wrote in the Daily Mail: "Wayne Rooney has an impressive record against United's rivals this season.

"His two terrific finishes in an extraordinary match against Liverpool are added to three against Arsenal and Chelsea, two against Man City and one against Spurs, as well as scoring the goal of last season with that overhead kick against City. Big names win big games."
