Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp accepts Heurelho Gomes will move on in January.

His appearance against Stoke City in the Carling Cup on Tuesday night was Gomes' first this season.

"I would think he won't be happy," said Redknapp. "He wants to play at the World Cup [in 2014] with Brazil, so it's going to be a problem.

"We'll wait until the next window and see where that takes us.

"He's done nothing wrong. He's a fantastic goalkeeper and a great pro. I just went with Carlo in Greece [against PAOK in the Europa League] - and he [Cudicini] was magnificent.

"I'm very lucky I have three top goalkeepers here and it's unlucky for the two not in the team.

"They would get in other teams, for sure. He [Gomes] trains great every day."
