Red card for Liverpool's Wisdom, second goal for West Brom's Berahino as England U21s held

The England U21 side have been held to a 1-1 draw by Finland in their second match of qualifying for Euro2015.

The Young Lions, with Gareth Southgate in charge, beat Moldova 1-0 in Reading on Thursday but could not edge past the Finns in Tampere on Monday.

18-year old Afghani-born Moshtagh Yaghoubi opened the scoring for Finland in the 15th minute with a long range free-kick but England were able to hit back through West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino.

The Albion youngster scored the winner against Moldova in his U21s debut and followed that up with a leveller in the 67th minute which came courtesy of some clever lead-up play from Manchester United's Wilfried Zaha.

However, the Young Lions were dealt a blow when Liverpool defender Andre Wisdom - who skippers Southgate's side - was sent off with just over 15 minutes remaining for an altercation with Tim Vayrynen.

The England U21s sit third on the Group 1 table with four points from two matches, four points behind Finland and three behind second-placed Lithuania, who have both played two extra fixtures.
