Red Bull Salzburg goalkeeper Gerhard Tremmel will undergo a week-long, two-game trial with Swansea City.
The 32-year old Bayern Munich youth academy product is seen as a good replacement for Wolves signing Dorus de Vries, who left Swansea this summer, with Brendan Rodgers confirming the trial to the South Wales Evening Post.
"We hope to see more of Gerhard," Rogers said.
"The plan is for him to come and train with us in Swansea for a week, and he could play some part in the two friendlies.
"He has been comfortable with everything we have asked him to do."
