Manchester United face missing out on Molde striker Erling Haaland.

The teenage striker has been a revelation for Molde coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season and been watched extensively by United and Juventus scouts.

However, Borussia Dortmund have now come forward for Haaland and with three weeks before their summer market shuts, they have time to close a deal for the forward.

Red Bull Salzburg, meanwhile, have kicked off the auction by offering €7m for Haaland in the last 24 hours.

Haaland is the son of former Manchester City midfielder Alf Inge Haaland.
