Red Bull are stepping up takeover talks with Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino.

The Daily Star says bosses from Red Bull will travel to Yorkshire to hold talks with Cellino about buying the Championship outfit.

The energy drinks giants held talks with Cellino at Elland Road at the end of October about a possible £60m take-over.

Cellino has been left stunned after being disqualified from owning Leeds by the Football League for tax evasion in Italy.

The controversial Italian has two weeks to appeal against the decision and is set to challenge it.
