Red Bull New York have announced that it has signed midfielder Dane Richards to a new, multi-year contract. Per club and MLS regulations, specific terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"During his time in New York, Dane has developed into one of our most potent offensive threats and one of the top young players in MLS," said Sporting Director Jeff Agoos. "We're thrilled that we were able to agree to a new contract with Dane as one of our goals was to stabilize our roster and promote consistency within our club."
