The records are set to tumble for Chelsea goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer.
At 41 years and 198 days, Schwarzer is the oldest player to appear in the knockout stages of the Champions League and, with Petr Cech out for the season, he will set more records if Chelsea can build on Tuesday's goalless draw and reach the final.
He could be the oldest player to appear in a final, a record held by Italian legend Dino Zoff (41 years, 86 days) when Juventus lost to Hamburg in 1983, or even be the oldest winner, surpassing Paolo Maldini (38 years, 332 days) when Milan beat Liverpool in 2007.
