Recoba wants Bologna move

Released Inter Milan attacker Alvaro Recoba is open to a move to Bologna.

Recoba said: "My contract is up and I have not spoken to Massimo Moratti about my future. I have been at Inter for 11 years, practically a lifetime in football terms, and the idea of leaving does make me sad. It's like leaving home for the first time. If Moratti asked me to stay, then I'd immediately say yes, but I don't think he will."

The Uruguay international continued: "I would like to continue playing in Serie A and this is one of the reasons why I have not yet made a decision.

"Some of my teammates at Torino spoke very highly of Palermo. They said the city and the fans are magnificent with a real South American feel.

"I must also confess that I cheered on Bologna in the last Serie B season. The city and the fans have always brought me good luck. I admit I'd love to join Bologna."
