Former Tottenham striker Sergey Rebrov is happy for Tim Sherwood over his new job at Aston Villa.

Rebrov, now manager of Dynamo Kiev, spent four years with Spurs between 2000 and 2004.

"I'm very pleased for my good friend Tim Sherwood (his former Tottenham team-mate), who is doing a good job as Aston Villa manager," he said.

"The Premier League is always interesting for me, whether you are playing in it or just watching it. And it is a very hard league."
