Manchester United are sensationally being linked with a move for Liverpool outcast Mario Balotelli.
Gazzetta dello Sport says United boss Jose Mourinho would welcome Balotelli to Old Trafford and that anything is possible regarding a deal. The pair met a fortnight ago to discuss the player's flagging career.
They suggest Balotelli could arrive to link up with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the duo having played together at Inter Milan under Mourinho.
A number of clubs have been linked with Balotelli so far, including Sampdoria, Bologna, Besiktas and Championship side Wolves, but no move has materialised, reports the Daily Star.
The 26-year-old's wages are reported to have been a factor in clubs holding off making a move and Gazzetta claim his agent Mino Raiola would prefer him to make a switch to a Premier League club so that they could match his wage demands.
Raiola has already done business with United this summer with his clients Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Paul Pogba all moving to Old Trafford.
