There are claims in Spain that David de Gea has thrown a wobbler over Jose Mourinho's presentation as new Manchester United manager.
The Sunday World says he could leave the club in protest at the new manager being given his squad number.
De Gea is reportedly on his way out of Old Trafford after seeing Jose Mourinho presented with his squad number at the new manager's unveiling on Friday.
Reports have since emerged that the Spain shotstopper is fuming over his squad number being given to Mourinho.
Having been minutes away from a lucrative move to Real Madrid last summer before a paperwork issue saw the deal collapse, the keeper now looks set to leave Old Trafford in a bizarre turn of events.
"He's going to play in goal? He couldn't even save his job at Chelsea," De Gea allegedly uttered in disgust.
