Manchester United striker Alexis Sanchez is upset with the placement of his locker, it has been revealed.
The Mirror reports it is understood the Sanchez's seat and locker were adjacent to the drinks cooler, which holds cold drinks for Jose Mourinho's stars. Each time it was opened by a team-mate or member of Mourinho's staff, the £450,000-a-week star was hit with a cold draught that left him chilly.
Sanchez is believed to have complained about the fridge, which has now been moved.
An Old Trafford insider said: “Sanchez wasn't happy that he was forever being hit with cold air when the cooler was opened.
“In a busy dressing room, the fridge is used continually before the game, at half-time and full-time and it became an annoyance for him. Club maintenance staff were called in to sort it out, which has been done.
“The comfort and well-being of the players is always of paramount importance, especially somewhere like the dressing room which is a critical area on match days."
