Real Zaragoza striker Eldin Hadzic admits he turned down Real Madrid as a junior player.
Hadzic instead chose to join Hercules at the time.
"It was my third year as a junior when I was about to sign for Real Madrid, but decided to go to Hercules and I stayed there.
"Then I had the opportunity to debut in the Segunda with the first team and it was good for me.
"If I had gone to Madrid, I do not know what would've happened, but I no longer think about it."
